Review SHERLOCK movie : A Study in Pink

                When I think about Sherlock Holmes, it must be a detective who wear the big suit with the detective hat, hold a loop. But in this movie you can not find his hat or the loop. The first thing you will realized in this movie is the modern set. Everything is in modern way. As you know that the real Sherlock is live in years ago. But in this movie,  you wlli not find the old things like in old movie, the modern thing instead. Like car that replace the horse drawn buggy, letter changed into sms or email, and the most modern thing that I just know from this movie is nicotine that injected in Sherlock arm and it’s change the smoke that Sherlock always have. The modern thing that apperar at the movie is the GPS that of course haven’t appear in away back.

                When we know the title of this movie, why ‘Study in Pink’? After we watch this movie you will know the reason. This movie is tell about the serial killer in London and  of course Sherlock will not overlook this case. A series people all commit suicide by taking a poisonous pill. And in the fourth victim of this serial killer, the victim is a woman that wear the pink cloth and the victim lost her suitcase. Sherlock (like usual) smartly can conclude that that suitcase would be Pink. And then he try to find the suitcase and analyze everything untill he can solve the mysterious case. I think you must watch it to know the detail and I recommend it.

If we talk about movie, of course we must discuss about the cast in it. And I think the one that is good looking, he’s a handsome man. That’s what I think. But his good looking is rather different from what I think. i just don’t imagined that Sherlock can has the handsome face (I’m sorry for Benedict Cumberbatch), I don’t think that he can suit Sherlock but I just don’t really have a high expectation of Sherlock’s face and I just too curious about the kind of the mysterious case.

There are some cool scene that I really like in this movie. On the early, when the detective inspector has a conference to the pers, and while he give the conference about the serial killer suddenly all peaople in there get the text that write “Wrong”, and it’s not just once. And i think Sherlock do that thing. It’s also cool when Sherlock show her talent when he inspect the dead body and analyze it. We can see clearly every detail of Sherlock thought and thanks to the every single word that can help to describe the detail to us. Oh, I like the trantition in this movie. Another cool scene is  when Sherlock and Dr.Watson try to going after a taxi and amazingly Sherlock can knows all the streets of London and predict the sign of the taxi will take pretty well. That’s so cool I think.

Be sides of the cool scene, there was also the funny scene in this movie. What’s that? It’s when Sherlock and Dr. Watson go to the restaurant to find some clue of the murder case. And it’s really funny when the owner think that they are a couple. I can see how Dr. Watson really disturbed by it. Another funny scene is in the end of the movie. It’s when the Dr.Watson try to safe Sherlock by fire a gun to the cabbie (Sherlock didn’t know that Dr.Watso did it) and it make Sherlock shocked, confused, and curious about who the person that can do it. And when Sherlock try to tell the police about the detail and unintentionally Sherlock look to Dr.Watson and found something weird with the strange expression of Dr.Watson (it’s really funny for me) and of course our Sherlock suddenly know the situation and in hurry ask the police to forget all what he said before.

            When the day is a rainy day, what do you felt? You will be excited or beef about it? Actually, there are many people that feel so dissappointed when the rain go down. Some people may said that the rain will disturbing their activity or their schedule. It is because they will feel so tired and lazy to doing activity with the wet cloth. But do you know that actually rain is the one of Allah’s bless ? of course it’s because there are so many advantage of it.

            I think it’s not excessive is I said that rain gives us so many advantages for creature in a whole world, like human, animals, and plants. It means that rain is the important thing for directnes live in the world, since the water is the most important thing in the world.. The rain can make the plants grow so well, animals can life from the water, and human can use the water for their needed in daily life.  

            But,  beside of the advantageof rain, we can thought nothing about the flood that sometimes happend in hard rainy day. Maybe there are many people that it can be a disadvantage of rain, but if we think about it again we will find the truth that flood is not  the direct consequence of rain. The flood will be happend if there is no enough absorption of the water that caused of rain. Why there are so many flood case in some many area these days? Of course it is because there are so many people that cut off the three and there is no enough ground that can absorp the water. So, that’s our  task to take care of our ground, our trees, and of course our earth to prevent the flood and more than that we must take good care of our earth.

The difficulties in Speaking English

In Indonesia, english is a foreign language that is learned from elementary school to university, and some kindergarten give English lesson these days. It means English is an important lesson. But, it’s not easy for students in Indonesia to learning English because there’s so many terms that must be learned, like vocabulary, pronouncation, and grammar. There’s so many difficulty in these terms, so it give occasion to students reluctant to learn English. Some students think that English is too complecated for them.

In this modern and globalization era,  it’s really important to getting of best in English. It’s because English is the international English. It means almost people aroung the  world communicate in English. As you know, language is the main and basic in communication so you cann’t communicate with foreigner people if can understand and speak well in English. Speak English well is not an excellent thing these days.  It’s really a common thing if we can speak English well because now English is like our weapon to communicate with people around the world. So, it’s not too much if I said that learning English is our obigation.

Sometimes, English learners are too shy to try speaking English. Niharika said,”you are not going to learn to speak confidently if you ashamed all speaking in English”.  It means we must to keep speaking English evethough we are not great in vocabulary or worry about our pronouncation or the accent is right or not. But it is not an easy things for the people who is not expert in English yet. There are so many difficuty things in speaking English for some people,  like the English learners.

You can make a communication with people if you and the person know and understand about your conversation each other. In speak English, it’s okay if we do not using grammar or English structure as long as our interlocutors can understand our mean. But it can be a problem if we are in formal situation like a forum, or we have a presentation so we must using the structure of English, and it is such a complicated things for the learners or for the people who does not great in English yet.

As we know about the grammar in English , we usually confuse about using the structure or grammar in English. In example, we know about rule of ‘simple present tense’ that has formulation subject, verb, and object. When I try to speak English, I always thinking about “Should I add s/es to this sentence? Or not?” or “is this a regular verb or irregular verb or the different type?”. I always have this difficulty when trying to speak English formally.

So, as English is really important these days, we must keep learning English, especially in learn to speaking English, we must keep to try and try to speak English. It is because English is not like a chip in our brain but it is a complete learning process.

I’ve always found physics to be an absolutely fascinating field of study. There is a certain solace one can find in thinking about the invisible forces that govern the world around us. Just when you think you understand a concept, you can dig deeper and unlock layer upon layer of complexity.

It always amazes me how translatable the world of physics can be across seemingly unrelated subjects, such as business and entrepreneurship.

Leaning towards chaos

I was recently reading about the concept of entropy, which is essentially a measure of disorder. This, taken alone, doesn’t seem all that interesting. However, things change when you remember that the second law of thermodynamics states that all closed systems tend to maximize entropy. In essence, this means that the Universe leans towards chaos.

The idea that the universe has a natural inclination towards disorder seems fitting in the context of entrepreneurship. It seems like, as a leader, I’m constantly battling a tendency for things to descend into disorder and chaos.

I know that as an entrepreneur, I often have a vision in my mind of how a particular business scenario should unfold. I find myself realizing this vision, and encountering serious frustration when things inevitably go sideways. Putting things back in order requires tremendous amounts of energy and focus. All in all, it makes for an exhausting and demoralizing process.

However, if you take your lead from physics and realize that the Universe and your business alike will naturally lean towards disorder, you can equip yourself to respond more effectively.

I’ve often felt that the root of most stress can be found at the intersection of expectations and reality. Good entrepreneurs are able to close the gap between these and thus manage the natural chaotic state of things more effectively.

Ending not with a bang but a whimper

To get back to entropy for a moment, there is an important rule that has major implications. The higher the entropy, the less energy there is for useful work in a system. So, if you couple this again with the second law of thermodynamics (systems tend to maximize entropy), you reach a startling conclusion: eventually, the Universe will be a pretty boring place.
